About Beautaureau and our Dogs

About Us

I fell in love with French Bulldogs over 20 years ago and my dream was to one day own a French Bulldog to show. My dream was fulfilled in 2009 when Brett bought me “Wilson”, so our being involved with showing commenced. At the time, we lived 180kms from Perth, travelling up and down multiple times over a weekend to shows. It was always an adventure, with the help of other French Bulldog exhibitors showing me “the newcomer” the ways of the ring. Many long-lasting friendships were forged at Dogs West.

Shortly after, we bought our beautiful Bandandra Cleopatra’s Dream (Cleo), a fawn and white pied girl. A year later, we purchased Tresor Just Wicked (Gracie), a beautiful brindle girl. It did not take long before our love of French Bulldogs had extended, and we decided to sell up in Western Australia and move to a property in South Australia with acreage. We continue to show our dogs in South Australia and have since imported a bitch from Denmark, Joker Face’s Crispy Crunch (Marley).

Over the years, we have bred many Champions for ourselves and other exhibitors. These dogs have won 2 x CACIBs and Runner Up CACIB winners at the International Show in Adelaide. I am a member of Dogs SA, NSW French Bulldog Club, French Bulldog Awareness Group of WA and The Northern Counties French Bulldog Club of England.

About our Puppies

When we breed, we breed for quality, health and temperament. We import semen from within Australia as well as from overseas. Our puppies are raised in the home, so mother and pups can be cared for around the clock. Before they go to their forever homes, they have preliminary spine x-rays as well as a full DNA Breed Profile which covers Degenerative Myelopathy (DM), Hereditary Cataracts, Cone Rod plus a multitude of other tests. Breeding dogs and bitches also have DNA profile, spine and hip scored and cystinuria tests. All puppies come with a full health check, microchip, vaccinated and six weeks free Pet Insurance and Puppy Packs, plus Lifetime Breeder support. The Puppy Packs contain a folder with pedigree papers, all Vet information, a fact sheet which covers what to and what not to feed your puppy, poisons around the house information, a puppy booklet and a soft toy.

When we entrust our babies to their new owners, we ensure we have selected a loving home where the new owner knows and acknowledges, that we will always be there for any questions or advice. We love receiving ongoing pictures and updates on how your puppy is maturing.
